Apple is rumored to be getting really serious about Ultra branding in the coming months, with theiPhone Foldexpected to actually belaunched as the iPhone Ultra. There will also bea MacBook Ultra, and a new pair of AirPods Ultra.
These will basically be theAirPods Pro 3, but with added cameras. The cameras will be used by Siri - that is, the new, revamped, AI-ified Siripowered by Gemini, which is (hopefully) finally coming in iOS 27 later this year.

TheAirPods Ultra have been rumoredbefore, and presumably those cameras will be there so you can ask Siri about what you're seeing around you. Despite recent rumors claiming otherwise, the usually reliable Mark Gurman thinks the AirPods Ultra will not in fact support gestures tracked by those cameras.
