Elevate Your Wrist: Amazfit Unlocks Enhanced iOS Notification Forwarding Beta for Smartwatches

Amazfit is taking a significant leap forward in improving the connectivity and interaction between its smart wearables and iPhones. The company has officially announced the launch of a beta testing program for its much-anticipated iOS Notification Forwarding feature. This new development promises a richer, more interactive notification experience directly from your iPhone to your Amazfit smartwatch. However, initial access to this exciting beta is exclusively available to users located within the European Union.

This revamped notification handling goes far beyond simple alerts. Users can now engage with compatible applications and truly interact with their messages and alerts from their wrist. Key enhancements include:

  • Viewing entire message content directly on your smartwatch.
  • The ability to reply to messages from supported apps.
  • Sending quick, pre-defined responses for swift communication.
  • Marking notifications as read without needing to reach for your iPhone.

The integration extends to popular communication platforms like WhatsApp, ensuring you stay connected. Furthermore, the new system supports image previews and visual alerts. Imagine receiving an alert from your smart doorbell and being able to view the accompanying image directly on your Amazfit smartwatch, providing instant visual context.

Amazfit's commitment to a seamless iOS experience is evident in these new notification capabilities.

The beta program is initially rolling out to several high-profile Amazfit smartwatches. Devices such as the Cheetah 2 Ultra, Balance Ultra, and Balance 3 are among the first to gain access. Amazfit plans to expand availability to a wider range of smartwatches in the coming weeks and months, including the Bip Max, Active 3 Premium, Cheetah 2 Pro, T-Rex 3, 3 Pro, Ultra 2, and Balance 2 models.

The beta testing period is set to commence on June 30. Participants can expect Amazfit to gradually update the Zepp App through the iOS App Store. To ensure eligibility and participate in the program, users must have iOS 26.5 or later running on their iPhone.

Once your Zepp App is updated, enabling the new feature is straightforward. The app will conveniently prompt you with a notification asking if you wish to activate the enhanced notification forwarding. For those who prefer a manual approach, the feature can be easily enabled via the app's menu: navigate to Devices > Notifications > App Notifications.
