Spotify Premium Subscription Costs Set to Increase in the US

Get ready to adjust your budget, as Spotify is implementing another price adjustment for its Premium subscription service in the United States. This upcoming price hike also affects users in Estonia and Latvia.

Starting from your February billing cycle, the standard Spotify Premium monthly fee will rise to $12.99, a $1 increase from the previous $11.99. This adjustment isn't limited to individual plans; other subscription tiers are also seeing an increase.

The Spotify Duo plan will now cost $18.99 per month, up from $16.99. For larger households, the Spotify Family plan will be priced at $21.99, a jump from its previous $19.99. Students can also expect a slight increase, with the Student plan now costing $6.99, up from $5.99.

While an increase of $1 or $2 per month might seem small individually, the cumulative effect of rising subscription costs can be a source of frustration for many consumers. Spotify is notifying affected subscribers via email about these upcoming changes.
