This latest beta, identified as ZZAO, addresses several key areas, building upon the improvements seen in the previous fifth beta. Users enrolled in the beta program can expect fixes for issues concerning Bixby functionality, sketch conversion within the Gallery app, and problems with Now Bar and Now Brief text and icons. Additionally, the update resolves a frustrating force close error encountered when adjusting camera settings and rectifies an issue where the lock screen style would change unexpectedly. Samsung has also focused on enhancing the animations associated with notification cards.

The update package weighs in at approximately 568MB and brings with it the February 5, 2026 security patch level. With the Galaxy S26 lineup beginning to hit the market, anticipation is high for the swift public release of One UI 8.5 for the S25 series. Given the significant progress and the number of beta iterations, this sixth build may well be the final beta release before the official rollout. Only time will tell definitively, but the signs point towards a rapid transition to the stable One UI 8.5 experience for Galaxy S25 owners.
