Realme Unveils 16 Pro Series, Pad 3 Tablet, and Buds Air8 Earbuds in Major 2026 Launch
Realme kicked off its 2026 product cycle with a significant launch event in India today, introducing a trio of anticipated devices. Headlining the debut is the Realme 16 Pro series, accompanied by the brand's latest tablet, the Realme Pad 3, and the new Realme Buds Air8 wireless earbuds. This extensive unveiling marks a strategic move for Realme, expanding its smartphone, tablet, and audio accessory portfolio with cutting-edge technology and design.
Realme 16 Pro: Premium Features with a Fresh Design
The Realme 16 Pro shares several core specifications with its more premium sibling, the 16 Pro+. Photography enthusiasts will appreciate its impressive 200MP main camera, featuring the Samsung HP5 sensor and enhanced by Realme’s proprietary LumaColor Image processing technology for vibrant and detailed shots. Complementing the main sensor is an 8MP ultrawide lens, offering versatility for capturing broader scenes, though it foregoes a dedicated telephoto lens present on the 16 Pro+.
Adopting the striking Urban Wild Design, co-developed with renowned designer Naoto Fukasawa, the Realme 16 Pro boasts a distinctive aesthetic. While it features a durable plastic frame—a departure from its sibling's aluminum build—it maintains robust protection with an IP69 ingress protection rating, ensuring resistance against dust and high-pressure water jets.
Under the hood, the Realme 16 Pro is powered by MediaTek’s capable Dimensity 7300 Max chipset, paired with configuration options of 8GB or 12GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of internal storage. Battery life is a strong point, with a large 7,000mAh battery supporting rapid 80W wired charging. The device runs on realme UI 7.0, based on Android 16, and promises three major Android OS updates along with four years of crucial security patches, ensuring long-term software support.
The Realme 16 Pro is available in a sophisticated range of colors: Master Gold, Pebble Grey, and an exclusive Orchid Purple shade for the Indian market.
Realme Pad 3: A Feature-Rich Tablet Experience
Realme's latest tablet, the Realme Pad 3, enters the market with an 11.6-inch IPS LCD display, boasting a sharp 2,800 x 2,000px resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. Its unique 7:5 aspect ratio provides an optimized viewing experience for both productivity and entertainment. The tablet operates on realme UI 7, built upon Android 16, ensuring a modern and intuitive user interface.
Performance for the Realme Pad 3 is driven by the same powerful Dimensity 7300 Max chipset found in the Realme 16 Pro. Users can choose between 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of integrated storage, with further expansion possible via a microSD card slot. Connectivity options include both Wi-Fi only and 5G cellular trims, offering flexibility for various user needs.
Weighing 578 grams and measuring a svelte 6.6mm in thickness, the Realme Pad 3 is designed for portability. It is equipped with two 8MP cameras, one positioned on the front for video calls and selfies, and another on the rear for general photography. Powering the device is a substantial 12,200 mAh battery, featuring 45W wired charging and convenient 6.5W reverse wired charging, allowing the tablet to power other devices.
The Realme Pad 3 is offered in elegant Champagne Gold and Space Grey color options.
Realme Buds Air8: Immersive Audio and Extended Battery Life
The Realme Buds Air8 wireless earbuds promise an impressive audio experience paired with exceptional endurance. Users can enjoy up to 14 hours of continuous playback from the earbuds themselves, with the accompanying charging case extending the total listening time to a remarkable 58 hours.
Designed for active lifestyles, the Buds Air8 come with an IP55 dust and water-resistant rating, making them suitable for workouts and outdoor use. These new earbuds are available in Master Gold, Master Grey, and Master Purple colors, matching the aesthetic of the new smartphone series.
