Motorola Signature Arrives in India with Premium Features and Ambitious Software Support
Motorola has officially launched its latest flagship, the Motorola Signature, in the Indian market. Available in sophisticated Pantone Martini Olive and Pantone Carbon finishes, this new device aims to deliver a premium user experience.
The Motorola Signature is offered in three distinct memory configurations to cater to various user needs:
- 12GB RAM / 256GB storage
- 16GB RAM / 512GB storage
- 16GB RAM / 1TB storage
Customers can also look forward to the exclusive "Signature Club," a 24/7 personal assistant service designed to assist with tasks such as travel bookings. While typically priced at INR 20,000 per year, this service will be offered complimentary for the first year to Signature purchasers.
Under the hood, the Motorola Signature is powered by the cutting-edge Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 SoC and boots Android 16. Demonstrating a significant commitment to longevity, Motorola promises an impressive seven years of Android OS upgrades and security updates, setting a new benchmark for software support in the Android ecosystem.
The device boasts a stunning 6.8-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a fluid 165Hz refresh rate. This panel features a sharp 2,780x1,264-pixel resolution and an astonishing peak brightness of 6,200 nits, ensuring exceptional visibility even in direct sunlight. Protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2, the display is also Pantone-validated and supports Dolby Vision for enhanced visual fidelity.
For photography enthusiasts, the Motorola Signature houses a versatile camera system. A 50MP punch-hole selfie camera is positioned centrally on the front. The rear panel is equipped with a triple-camera setup, including three 50MP sensors: a primary shooter, an ultrawide lens, and a 3x periscope telephoto lens.
Powering this feature-rich smartphone is a substantial 5,200 mAh Si/C battery. It supports blazing-fast 90W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. Furthermore, the Signature offers convenience with 5W reverse wired and 10W reverse wireless charging capabilities.
Measuring a slim 6.99mm and weighing 186g, the Motorola Signature is packed with additional premium features. These include an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner, robust IP68 and IP69 water and dust resistance ratings, MIL-STD-810H certification for durability, and NFC. Audio is delivered through dual Bose-tuned stereo speakers, with support for Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res Audio over both wired and wireless connections.
Alongside the Signature, Motorola also introduced the Moto Watch in India. This wearable device is priced at INR 5,999 and will also be available for purchase starting January 30.
