iQOO 15R Key Specifications Emerge from Geekbench Leak

While iQOO has offered a sneak peek at the design of its upcoming iQOO 15R, detailed specifications have remained under wraps. However, a recent appearance on Geekbench has shed considerable light on the chipset and other crucial aspects of the device before its official launch in India.

The iQOO 15R, identified by the model number I2508, has been spotted in the Geekbench database. The listing reveals an octa-core CPU configuration, featuring two cores operating at a robust 3.8GHz and six cores at 3.32GHz. Coupled with the mention of Adreno 829 graphics, this strongly indicates that the iQOO 15R will be powered by the cutting-edge Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 SoC.

The Geekbench entry also shows a unit running Android 16 with 8GB of RAM. It's highly probable that iQOO will offer additional RAM variants to cater to a wider range of user needs. In terms of raw performance, the iQOO 15R demonstrated impressive capabilities in the benchmark tests, scoring 2,590 in single-core and 8,423 in multi-core tests. The user experience is expected to be enhanced by OriginOS 6 and a fluid 6.59-inch AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and 1,260p resolution. For photography enthusiasts, the device is anticipated to feature a 32MP front-facing camera and a versatile dual-rear camera system, headlined by a 200MP main sensor and an 8MP ultrawide lens.
