Insiders suggest the iPhone Air 2 will incorporate novel CoE display technology. This technology, which may also debut on the rumored iPhone Fold, promises a thinner display package. This not only improves readability in bright sunlight but crucially leads to reduced power consumption in such conditions, as the display won't need to ramp up brightness as aggressively.
