As widely speculated, the standard Samsung Galaxy S26 is the only model in the lineup to receive a battery capacity upgrade compared to its predecessor. It boasts a rated battery of 4,175 mAh, which will be marketed with a typical capacity of 4,300 mAh.

The Samsung Galaxy S26+ is equipped with a battery rated at 4,755 mAh, translating to a typical advertised capacity of 4,900 mAh. Meanwhile, the flagship Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra features a substantial battery rated at 4,855 mAh, with its typical capacity set at 5,000 mAh.

Beyond raw capacity, these new Samsung devices are engineered for longevity. All three batteries are guaranteed to retain at least 80% of their original capacity after 1,200 full charging cycles. Furthermore, the entire Galaxy S26 series will uphold the expected IP68 rating for robust dust and water resistance. In terms of durability and user experience, all models also achieve an impressive A rating for drop resistance, though they receive a C rating for repairability.
