According to Gurman's reporting, Apple is actively exploring a striking new color option for the iPhone 18 Pro and its larger sibling. The buzz suggests a deep, captivating red finish could be gracing the next generation of Pro iPhones.

This new red shade is reportedly being groomed to serve as the premium, flagship color for the iPhone 18 Pro models. Furthermore, Gurman indicates that alongside this exciting new red variant, Apple might also continue to offer the popular Cosmic Orange, providing users with an expanded selection of premium finishes.

Shifting focus to the much-anticipated foldable device, tentatively dubbed the iPhone Fold, the color strategy appears to be markedly different. Gurman reports that Apple is steering clear of "fun" or vibrant colorways for this innovative device. Instead, the iPhone Fold, expected to launch concurrently with the iPhone 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max in September, is tipped to feature more understated and elegant finishes.
